Three hours of a real wood fire — no music, no loops of sound effects. Just the crackle, the pops, and the slow settling of burning logs. I'm a firewood maker in the mountains of Nagano, Japan. I split this wood, lit it outside my workshop late at night, set up the camera and a microphone, and let it burn. The sound and the picture are both real. Nothing was added. "Makibi" means wood fire in Japanese. Use it for sleep, for reading, for a quiet room while you work — or just to remember what a real fire sounds like. The other videos on this channel pair this same fire with soft felt piano. This one is the fire alone. — About this channel — The music on this channel is created with the help of AI tools, then selected, arranged and mixed by me. This video has no music at all — the fire is real, recorded by me on September 12, 2026. I believe in being honest about both.
