I love bait trapping for butterflies and moths, especially when we go to a place like the mountains of North Carolina. This summer, the Fine family traveled to this beautiful state for the Southern Lepidopterists' Society meeting and hung some bait traps along the way. We tried a variety of different fruit mixtures to see what would come to the bait. Bananas, apples, watermelon and peaches were on the menu for the moths!
