10km Forest Hike After Heavy Rain | Full Pack Training

This was one of the easy days - 10km with full backpacks through a spring forest that started exploding with life. Mud underfoot, periwinkles everywhere, and creek crossings from last night's rain. 500 metres of elevation gain, and a forest floor crawling with firebugs and ants. This is what training looks like before a two-week hiking trip to Tenerife.
