The House of Suntory proudly introduces Suntory Whisky Toki Black, our first limited-edition release. Crafted with Hakushu Peated malt and Hakushu grain, Toki Black represents a deeper and more complex side of Japanese whisky. With a softly smoky profile, it reflects our ongoing pursuit of excellence—honoring the traditions of Japanese craftsmanship while embracing innovation for a new generation of whisky enthusiasts. To embody this spirit of reinvention, we collaborated with American producer Terrace Martin and renowned Japanese jazz artist Ryota Nozaki (Jazztronik). Together, they created an original film and bespoke vinyl inspired by Jazz Kissa culture and the Japanese philosophy of Ichigo Ichie—the belief that each encounter is unique and unrepeatable. This project mirrors the essence of Toki Black: a seamless dialogue between past and present, heritage and modernity, Japan and the world.
