[DVD 60fps] Honeywell Owl commercial (Scanimate)

From Scanimate DVD-1, which you can purchase at scanimate.com (not my website or product). Originally from a 1979 demo reel for Image West. If you see compression artifacts at 4K, they're likely from the DVD. It is 2 hours of video on a single layer DVD after all. 4,710kb/s constabt bitrate. I will not upload Scanimate DVD-1 in its entirety anywhere because Dave Seig is a preservationist like me, and I want to see him keep his Scanimate revenue stream. Official site: http://www.scanimate.com/DVD1.html My method of preserving this: • Rip the DVD to lossless MP4 using Handbrake (BT.601 Color Space) • Use AVISynth+ to deinterlace (QTGMC) and upscale (nnedi3_rpow2). • Downscale to 4K and save to ProRes using Virtualdub2. • Trim and render to GoPro Cineform using DaVinci Resolve. • Upload here.
