Bikepacking The Mawson Trail

South Australia is a special place to me. I was born there and lived there for 21 years. I had never been to the Flinders Ranges in this time. This is my second bike packing trip and the longest at around 900km and one of the prettiest. Only 98 to go. The Mawson Trail is a bike packing route predominantly on gravel and farm tracks from Blinman North to Adelaide's River Torrens/ Karrawirra Parri Gorge .Over 17 days in hot, cold, wet and muddy conditions. I'm riding a fully loaded Salsa Fargo as having Coeliac Disease I need to carry all food for at least 7 days at a time until the next big town.
