The audio is definitely pretty rough, but it's totally worth a listen. You really have to give these guys for having the energy to play a very, very energetic set for two amazing hours. I cannot stress this enough... THIS IS A MUST LISTEN. I replaced the bootleg version of Gotta Serve Somebody to the soundboard version. You can listen to the bootleg version here:    • Видео   The show starts with an opening act... Devo! Excuse me... Dove ;) . Stories tell that it actually did take people a moment to figure out that it was just Devo acting all Christian and stuff. This was one of the two Dove shows caught on tape (last show of their three show run in late 1979). Their performance is really, really great. Next up was "X"...??? I'm not exactly sure what "X" is (an opening band?) - Tell me in the comments below any info you have on them. I heard that a recording of their performance is "now in circulation for the first time, if you want the complete show." After that, they play their E-Z version of Come Back Jonee over the P.A., and then they play the General Boy intro for the very first time! They start off their actual set with rare early versions of Freedom of Choice songs. Then, they play some classics. This is THE fastest I've ever heard them play them. 1980, the (then) New Year, starts after U Got Me Bugged. Booji Boy counts down, and there's an explosion after 1. "The explosions at midnight were way bigger than they should have been. I was at the back of the arena floor risers and the heat from the blasts was like the sun! Mark was dressed as baby New Year, wearing just a diaper a new year sash and the rubber mask (with glasses).He was center stage for the 1st blast, then he ran! How he didn't get fried like an egg I don't know. After the blasts stop, the audience is quiet for a moment... just stunned." They play for the first recorded time a very rare Fountain Of Filth after that. For the finale, they play "Gates Of Steel" saying it was by Dove.
