The Dark Story of Birmingham-Southern College: The University That Couldn’t Escape Financial Ruin

Birmingham-Southern College existed for 168 years. Phi Beta Kappa chapter. Six Rhodes Scholars. One of the best liberal arts colleges in the South. And in 2024, it closed forever. From a $122 million endowment to zero. From a college campus to a Coast Guard training center. #BirminghamSouthern #CollegeClosure #HigherEducation #Documentary #Birmingham #DarkHistory #UniversityCollapse #BSC
