Mucoid degeneration of ACL is a rare condition of the #ACL. In this condition there is damage to ACL and patient has pain full knee with swelling and instability. It can be caused by following reasons. 1. Steroid intake 2.Trauma 3. Injection in knee 4.Diabetes or Thyroid problems Patient can do all activities but there is constant pain in knee joint, specially in knee bending, squatting and sitting cross leg. There is clicking sound in the knee joint. MRI report can diagnosed celery stalk appearance in T2 images. Treatment depends on stage of the disease. 1.
