I'm No Angel | Dido (Live Acoustic Cover) | with Original Songwriter Paul Statham

Here's one of my favourite musical memories, a special live acoustic performance of Dido's 'I'm No Angel' alongside Paul Statham on guitar - one of the original songwriters of the song! This was back in 2022 on a songwriting retreat with The Songwriting Academy where Paul was one of my mentors and we even had a crack at writing together. I plucked up the courage to ask him if we could.... jam it? And he said he had actually NEVER played it live before! I was so excited and nervous and ecstatic (did that show? lol) and we ran through it once before performing it to the crowd. So that's why it's not polished and I have the lyrics on my phone but - it's an experience I will treasure forever. I really love the song and the writing (see lyrics below), it could have very easily been something I released.
