Urban Adventure Walk To Our Favorite Park | It´s Sunday Again | Livestock Guardian Dog Vlog

Today´s 4 hour walk included everything that makes my independently thinking rescue dog happy - stimulating mentally and also exhausting physically. He was able to navigate our tour, take on some responsibility in showing me how he remembers our route, which he loves doing. With lots of nature around us in our favorite park, despite needing to navigate parts of the city first, connecting little parks and green patches along the way, he eventually finds all that he needs: bathing in a clear creek, sniffing, some controlled free running, exploring, dog encounters where harmonious, and resting. Unfortunately it was too full for our taste already, too many joggers, cyclists, tourists and off-leash dogs to circumnavigate, yet we try to enjoy these little oases and find our quiet spots. After such a long walk, he´s content back home, sleeping and needing less of an extensive walk on the following days, more of a sniffing stroll, plus it reduces his territorial behavior a little, if once a week more or less he has such an extensive longer excursion further away, which shifts his sense of territory and balances our nervous systems. ----------------------------------------------- Real-life walks with a territorial rescue dog and livestock guardian mix living in a green city.
