Overcoming Fear – Week 2 – The Fear of Failure

This week in our Overcoming Fear series, we look at the fear of failure. Starting in Matthew 25:24-25, we unpack the servant who buried his talent in the ground because fear convinced him it was safer to hide what God had given him. We explore how our view of God shapes how we respond, why God is looking for faithfulness rather than perfection, and how the enemy wants to turn failure into identity. Along the way we hear personal stories, from a book that was deleted out of fear years ago to the sports legends who became great because they kept swinging and shooting. We also look at the life of Peter, who denied Jesus three times yet was restored beside another charcoal fire in John 21 and went on to preach at Pentecost.
