Guinea Pigs | Friend or Foe?

First off, the 'photo' you may have seen in the posts section is a composite, with one laid on top of another. So Ghosty and Björn weren't actually there at the same time. Ghosty hangs out around this area a lot, lying in wait out of sight from the bird feeder. He's only interested in birds, squirrels and mice. Not the piggies! In fact I think his presence helps deter predators. The crow's behaviour took me completely by surprise when I saw it, and I've since done a bit of research on the subject; but I was even more surprised by Bruno's reaction, or lack of it! Was he not aware of the crow behind him, or was he just not bothered? Regarding the peck at Björn, looking at it frame by frame it's possible to see the crow open it's beak and grab a tuft of fur from Björn's back; it doesn't appear overly aggressive, just a peck. Björn reappears at the end seemingly none the worse for wear. This is the first time I have witnessed this, and it's given me food for thought! I guess this must have always been going on, only I've never actually seen it. But if the crow is in that kind of mood, why doesn't it go for Luigi, or do the same to Bruno? I haven't quite got my head around this yet, but the pigs have been living in this free range environment for two and a half years now, and the crows have always been here. Some of you might think it's only a matter of time, others might think it would surely have happened by now if it was going to.
