Picking up right where Episode 5 ended, we continue exploring Yellowstone on June 30, one of the busiest and most memorable days of our entire trip. From steaming geothermal wonders to historic landmarks and unforgettable wildlife encounters, this episode is packed with some of Yellowstone's most iconic attractions. In this episode, we explore the incredible Norris Geyser Basin, home to the world's tallest active geyser—Steamboat Geyser—along with colorful hot springs, bubbling geothermal features, and Yellowstone's oldest geothermal basin. Our journey then takes us north through Yellowstone, stopping at Roaring Mountain, the scenic Golden Gate Canyon, and the beautiful Upper Terrace Loop at Mammoth Hot Springs. We also visit the historic Roosevelt Arch at Yellowstone's North Entrance in Gardiner, Montana, before ending the day in the wildlife paradise of Lamar Valley, where we were lucky enough to spot bison, elk, a peregrine falcon, and even a grizzly bear! Along the way, we'll share fascinating Yellowstone facts, travel tips, and important wildlife safety reminders to help you plan your own visit.
