Message Title: Expanding the Six Armors Extracts from The Word 1. The Armor of Truth Dealing with the first armor which is the armor of truth. The main purpose of putting on the armor of God is to guard against the wise of the devil and to against evil days. Ephesians 6:13, John 17:17 John 3:6 When we talk about the armour of truth,we talk about the word of the Lord. The word is Christ, who is the 1st armor. Once you become born again. the armour of Truth enters you to become part of you. The only way to use this armor is through growth. 2 Peter 3:18, 'But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen." This is a life long journey. As you learn the scripture, you grow the you mature. Growth commits knowledge. John 8:31."Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” Once you have the truth, what you need is the knowledge of Christ through the reading and meditating of the word of God. Have the consciousness that you are not alone. This activates the armor of Truth. 2 Corinthians 5:17 2. Armor of Righteousness: Romans 5:17, "For if, by the trespass of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ!" God Gives the armor of righteousness once you become born again 2 Corinthians 6:7. Make your member an instrument in Christ 3. The armor of the gospel of peace. The 3rd armor is also called evangelism. Preach the word of God because it is the armour of the spirit. Mark 16:15. "And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." When you evangelise, God protects you and bless you. God shows up for you in your direst moment Mark 16:16-18, Mark 5:18-19. Anytime you find an occasion,preach the world of the Lord. John 15:8 4. The Shield of Faith. Hebrews 11:6. Faith is the foundation of evangelism. Habakkuk 2:4. Roman 5:2. W have access by faith. We stand by faith 5. Helmet of Salvation. This talks about your Identity. It is important to wear your identity always. People must know you are a child of God through your dressing, your speech, actions, way of life, etc. Be bold to say you are a christian. Matthew 5:13. Romans 5:16 6. The Sword of the Spirit. This is the word of the Lord. Hebrews 4:12,"For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." Speak the word of God to counteracts attacks. The word of God is powerful. Speak it continually. John 6:63 Confess your consciousness in Christ always. Be Blessed, Amen
