Military Street Bridge, Corner of Huron Ave. and Quay St. The Conger, a passenger ferry built in 1882, shuttled people to Sarnia before the Blue Water Bridges. An explosion in 1922 destroyed the ferry & was felt throughout town. The Federal Building, 526 Water St. Designed by Alfred B. Mullett, this building reflects the Renaissance Revival style popular in federal architecture in the 19th century & has served Port Huron for 150 years. Featuring Andrew Kercher, a local historian and brought to you by Discover Michigan's Thumbcoast. For visitor information visit thumbcoast.org
