Carillon de Westminster, Op. 54 No. 6 | Louis Vierne

Louis Vierne's Carillon de Westminster remains one of the most popular works in the organ repertoire. Inspired by the Westminster Quarters, it is every bit as exciting to perform as it is to listen to. Although Vierne conceived the work for a three-manual organ with Grand-Orgue, Récit, and Positif divisions, this performance is presented on a two-manual instrument. By making use of floating divisions, the original manual layout has been recreated as closely as possible, allowing the division changes indicated in Vierne's score to be followed with fidelity.
