Simulation demo of an autonomous container inspection drone system, built for Tow-botic Systems (Upwork engagement).
The pipeline auto-generates a Gazebo world from real container stowage data (BAPLIE format), then plans and flies an autonomous inspection path over reefer containers using PX4 SITL and MAVSDK-Python — including wind-sweep testing to validate flight stability under load.
Scope of work:
• BAPLIE container stowage data parsing for automated flight planning
• Procedural Gazebo world generation from parsed container layouts
• PX4 SITL wind-sweep analysis to validate flight stability under load
• Autonomous reefer inspection path planning using MAVSDK-Python
• Tethered drone hardware redesign proposal for continuous-power operation
