VFR400R NC21 Forks Strip and Rebuild.

Well it’s taken quite a while to get these forks sorted out. I took them apart at Christmas and sent them off to BROOKS SUSPENSION here in the UK. They did a very good job on the chrome but I had to wait about 10weeks to get them back. Fortunately this gave me time to strip the fork legs and repaint them im black gloss. Whilst the stations where away getting re chromed I bought new seal, bushes etc in a kit but it wasn’t until I got the forks stations back that I found out that the kit I had bought was the wrong one. So had to wait another couple weeks to get a replacement kit sent. Due to family commitments I’ve only just managed to get them sorted. I’m hoping to start putting stuff back together soon so I can at least get the bike to a rolling chassis.
