Afro House Living Room Session in Barcelona | KMNI

Recorded live at our intimate living room sessions in Barcelona. KMNI is a Cameroonian-born, Los Angeles-based DJ and producer shaping a sound at the intersection of West African rhythm and modern electronic music. Drawing from the percussive, movement-driven traditions of his roots, he brings those influences into a contemporary electronic landscape, creating music that bridges the cultures and places that have shaped him. His sets are rooted in celebration, storytelling, and cultural exchange. He's shared stages with Shimza, THEMBA, Nitefreak, Desiree, Major League DJz, Bontan, and AWEN, with appearances at Lightning in a Bottle, Sound Nightclub, and The Gathering. From Los Angeles to London, Barcelona, Berlin, Tbilisi, and Batumi, he's brought his sound to audiences across continents, focused on honoring where he comes from while exploring where African electronic music can go next. We met KMNI at Amsterdam Dance Event in 2025, and he flew in from LA to play this one with us. This is what the collective is here for: connecting people who share the same love for music, and making room for them to meet, play, and dance together. New sessions released every week.
