New Boat Locker! Half Cabin Boat Restoration ❤🚤

We fit the new lockers into my 1984 Swiftcraft Seagull MkIII half cabin boat. This is the first time I have refit a fibreglass boat and the first time I have fit lockers into a boat. I bought this boat at auction earlier in 2020 and working on this boat restoration project with my Dad, its our first boat project together, so its a family boat! In this video we fit the new anchor locker and the new bulkhead. We also fabricate and fit the new lockers into the half cabin at the front of the boat. In this video we used We used 9mm & 6mm Marine Plywood for the bulkhead, anchor locker and lockers and 450g and 250g fiberglass chop and a polyester resin. Next on the jobslist is to paint the lockers and cabin with gelcoat and flowcoat and to make the new seats. The boat is an old Swiftcraft Seagull MkIII, they were very popular in Australia back in their day as a fishing boat and a family boat for weekend boating adventures. It's a half cabin or cuddy cabin, making it the ideal trailer boat and the perfect cheap boat project! When it is finished it shall be the prefect boat for fishing, exploring the local coastline of the Gold Coast Broadwater and Moreton Bay and discovering new beaches. Subscribe for more updates!
