A walk in Levanto and a tunnel

In this video I take a train ride from La Spezia to Levanto. I show some clips of the view from the train riding through the Cinque Terre villages. Most of time we are going through tunnels, sometimes even the stops are partly in these tunnels. The trains in the summer season can be very crowded, as these villages are extremely popular – not without reason. Then I walk down to the lovely town of Levanto, then to the shore. The view to the sea is just as amazing as always. Then I walk through the tunnel between Levanto and the neighbouring village. This is a quite unique way of getting through. it’s cool inside and has stunning view to the sea between the segments. These tunnels once were used by trains, then they were converted to pedestrian routes. What a great idea!
