Meet Our NF Academy Ambassadors Jacob and Maryam

What does it mean to become an advocate for the NF community? In part one of episode three, we meet two NF Academy ambassadors: Jacob, who is living with NF1, and Maryam, whose sister has NF1. Together, they share how their personal experiences inspired them to become advocates for the NF community. We talk about the transition from paediatric to adult care, the challenges of finding healthcare professionals who understand NF, the unique perspective of family members, and why programmes like the NF Academy empower the next generation of patient advocates across Europe.
