Sara Brink-Nielsen - Mysterious ( I Am ) (Glacier Songs - Part 1)

Part 1: Mysterious ( I Am ) Glacier Songs is a four-part EP inspired by the Mer de Glace glacier. A personal encounter with this impressive ice mass inspired composer and improvising harpist Sara Brink-Nielsen to create these compositions. Glacier Songs explores both the resilience and fragility of the glacier. Joined by drummer Daniël van Dalen, Sara Brink-Nielsen's debut EP unfolds at the crossroads of contemporary classical music, jazz, and free improvisation. The video is made by Gus Wolf Wickerhoff. Sara and Gus previously worked together on audio-visual performance 'Beyond Perspective'. This project brought them to the Sint-Rita Kerk in Harelbeke, (BE), where Gus directed and filmed the video.
