TOM PAXTON - LAST THING ON MY MIND

Introducing the multi instrumental Chris Hall on Pedal Steel. Thanx Chris! One of the "Big Ones" from the folk music revival of the sixties, Artists like Tom Paxton and Pete Seeger led the way, and so many great acts followed after. Written in the early 1960s and recorded first by Paxton in 1964, the song instantly became a standard in the folk scene. The song was covered by Porter Wagoner and Dolly Parton and released as their debut duet single on October 30, 1967. This is the version that I fell in love with as a young Waxxie. Tom Paxton from 1966. Hauntingly Beautiful! ....    • Tom Paxton - The Last Thing On My Mind (1966)   Dolly and Porter's version. Amazing!....    • Видео
