What happens when an incredible UNESCO World Heritage landscape meets Hollywood? 🤯🎬 We leave the futuristic city of Chongqing and head into the mountains to explore Wulong Karst National Geological Park, one of the most spectacular natural attractions in China. Located in Wulong District, Chongqing, this area is famous for its dramatic limestone karst formations, enormous sinkholes, caves, deep gorges and the spectacular Three Natural Bridges. Wulong forms part of the South China Karst, which was inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List in 2007. The highlight of our visit is the incredible Three Natural Bridges (天生三桥), where three gigantic natural limestone bridges, Tianlong, Qinglong and Heilong, tower above the valley. Walking underneath them really makes you realise just how enormous this landscape is. But Wulong has another claim to fame... 🎥 🤖 Parts of Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014) were filmed here. 🏯 The area was also used as a filming location for director Zhang Yimou's Curse of the Golden Flower (2006). You may even recognise the traditional Chinese courtyard nestled beneath the towering cliffs. The building, commonly referred to as Tianfu Inn, is associated with Curse of the Golden Flower and makes this already surreal landscape feel like a movie set. We descend into this incredible world of towering cliffs, natural stone bridges and cinematic landscapes and find out whether Wulong Karst is worth adding to your Chongqing itinerary! 🇨🇳 📍 Wulong Karst, Chongqing, China 🇨🇳 #WulongKarst #Transformers #Chongqing #ChinaTravel #ChinaVlog #Wulong #ThreeNaturalBridges #ChongqingTravel #TravelChina #武隆 #重庆 #天生三桥
