How - Engineer to PM actually happens. (Without an MBA) | Muskan Chugh, Tazapay

Muskan Chugh went from software engineer at Cisco and Amazon to product manager at Tazapay, a cross-border payments company of about 100 people — with no MBA. In this conversation she walks through how she found out the job existed, what actually transferred from engineering, and what a fintech interview tests that she had not expected. The honest parts are the useful ones. It took her a full year to understand the domain, not two months. The Amazon name got her interview calls, but she is clear it was the projects that got her the offer. And on the question everyone asks her — can you land a PM role without an MBA — she gives the real picture, including the people in her own cohort who did not.
