Blue Hour | A Short Film

When all is said and done, my dear... Blue Hour is set in a university workshop in the north of England. Joey, a student from Yorkshire, keeps his head down and works quietly, more comfortable with tools than with people. The workshop is familiar to him - noisy, practical, predictable. That changes when Skyla, an exchange student from Texas, joins the course. She's open, direct, and out of place in a way that immediately stands out. They're partnered together for the module, spending long hours side by side in a space that isn't built for conversation. At first, their differences feel awkward. Joey struggles to speak up; Skyla fills the gaps with humour and curiosity. But as the days pass, something begins to form between them.
