From Fresh Tomatoes to Homemade 🍅🔥 Village life 🍃

Hello and welcome, dear friends, to another day at Hillside Village Life. 🌿🏡 Today, I walked through the beautiful countryside, passing by a hay field, an apple orchard, and the peaceful green meadows of our village, until I reached a tomato field. The tomatoes were being harvested, and as always, my husband came to help me pick them. Today, we had a special plan: to make organic homemade tomato paste using traditional methods. 🍅🔥 After bringing the fresh tomatoes home, we placed them in a large basin and washed them thoroughly. Then, we chopped the tomatoes and put them into a large pot over the wood-burning stove. Meanwhile, my husband gathered firewood to keep the traditional stove burning and make sure we had enough heat for cooking. 🔥🪵 After the tomatoes had boiled for a while, we removed them from the pot and passed them through a traditional strainer to separate the skins and seeds. The smooth tomato mixture was then returned to the pot and placed back over the fire.
