Team built around Rumi, as she is the final cleanse in my roster. Pos4 Kei is in range to catch the 1st bounce of Rumi's EX and transfer the heal to the rest of the team. Asuna EX moves her to alter the ricochet pattern. Decided to also use Asuna to tank, as opposed to bringing another a 350/450 range striker. A second 550 range striker can also shuffle into a tanking position to cover Rumi in an adjacent slot. NY.Fuuka + Kisaki combo provides very powerful ST maintenance healing via their basic skills, and their cost support helps Rumi maintain the tempo on the other 3 strikers and the cleanse stacks. However, Kisaki is a bit awkward for lacking an effect on AA dps. The skill cycle is sufficiently fast that Kisaki felt like a rotational obstacle on an unexpected number of occasions. Kisaki basic shield is known to have has reasonable alignment with the tankbuster in P1, so maybe a substitution is in order? L.Shun timings here are clearly not correct. Made some loose attempts to follow the rhythm whilst playing, but otherwise did none of the pre-planning that a proper timeline would demand. Asuna movements were not thoroughly prepared. The subsequent worries over her position were underappreciated in advance, and the conflict between said worries and her self-buff uptime/skill cycling utility had a tangibly negative effect on our play. This element should be prioritised for development in the future. Six movements require mapping, at minimum, with latter four being most critical: Initial movement into tanking position, inside of Rumi EX coverage. Initial movement into tanking position, outside of Rumi EX coverage. Movement from outside to outside of Rumi EX coverage, maintaining tanking post. Movement from inside to outside of Rumi EX coverage, maintaining tanking post. Movement from inside to inside of Rumi EX coverage, maintaining tanking post. Movement from outside to inside of Rumi EX coverage, maintaining tanking post. Planning throughout S86 assumed a necessity that the 4th bounce of Rumi's EX landed on Rumi herself, but retrospective analysis suggests that it's not so crucial. Put more attention and thought into the special students' shield timings for immediate gains to survivability. Asuna can also catch the 1st bounce of Rumi EX by moving herself into the gap, though there are complications with keeping her in front of Rumi simultaneously. Asuna will be social distanced out of position by the red claw, when the latter's hitbox appears during Claw Sweep. There are other ways to transfer Rumi's EX too. (eg: Using summoned entities to bridge the gap. See notes for positions and ranging.) Regarding L.Shun optimisation, I can only expect that there's a lot of theory and planning still to do before she gets anywhere near her ceiling in this raid. (Did anybody else do it, lol?) EX pace and Crane timing are obviously important, and her basic+ skill might need to be delayed to line up with the Counter Claw. Maintaining the subskill chain for the full fight looks difficult, unless an extra Crane use can be found during the 2nd mechanical cycle? My instincts are also pointing me towards a double red dps team, which sounds... like an investigation for next season, tbh. =w= Cpgb2611, 1547, "Extra-2-2" 28th September (Day 7), Ticket, Uncompressed
