FM27: I'm Starting at the Bottom… But Which Club?

I'm choosing my first Football Manager 27 (FM27) save, and I don't want an easy ride. ⚽ I want to start small, survive the early struggles, build the finances, improve the stadium and facilities, and eventually take a lower-league club towards the very top of football. But which club deserves that journey? Darlington currently leads my shortlist, East Fife is a very close second, and Les Herbiers offers another fascinating challenge. In this video, I cover: ⚽ Why I want to start in the lower leagues again 🏟️ Why Darlington and East Fife appeal to me 🇫🇷 The incredible story behind Les Herbiers 💰 Building a club through free transfers, recruitment and financial growth 🧠 My proposed tactics and approach to managing the team 🏆 The long-term ambition: promotions, better facilities, bigger crowds and eventually European football I'll also explain why my old Halifax Town save was so memorable and why taking my hometown club Colne up the pyramid remains a future ambition. This is my pre-play save selection, not a hands-on FM27 review. I'll check each club's actual starting status, finances and database availability before committing. 🎮 WATCH NEXT FM27 Preview — 5 Things You NEED to Know:    • Testing The FM27 Preview: 5 Things You NEE...   🔔 JOIN BENUNLOCKED Subscribe for Football Manager 27 saves, tactical experiments, lower-league adventures and gaming commentary.    / @benunlockedyt   💬 YOUR TURN Which lower-league club would YOU choose for FM27, and what's the first milestone you'd aim for?
