‘Dimagi Naxals Have Taken Control…’: PM Modi WARNS During Diwali Address In Bastar

Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated Diwali with security personnel in Chhattisgarh’s Bastar region, honouring their role in the fight against Naxalism. Visiting the CoBRA Operations Base in Karanpur, which served as a training centre and launch pad for anti-Naxal operations in Bastar and Abujhmad, Modi described Diwali 2026 as special, saying it marked the first festival since the country’s victory over decades of Naxalism and Maoist terror. He credited security personnel for their sacrifices and dedication, praised their contribution to national unity and internal security, and extended Diwali greetings to personnel stationed across the country. #narendramodi #diwali2026 #bastar #chhattisgarh #naxalism #maoism #cobRA #securityforces #indiasecurity #abujhmad #karanpur #internalsecurity —————————————————————————————————————————— TOI Bharat – Your Window to India And Its Neighbourhood TOI Bharat delivers the latest news, biggest voices, sharpest views and in-depth coverage of India’s political, social and economic landscape.
