Buying Our First Sailboat & Sailing 600 Miles Home

We bought a sailboat! ⛵ About a year ago, we decided we wanted to do something a little different. So we sold our apartment in Amsterdam and started looking for a boat that we could call home. After months of searching, we found a Bavaria 45 Cruiser in Sweden that looked like it could be the one. In our first video, we’re taking you along as we travel to Sweden to view the boat, go through the process of buying her, get everything ready and eventually set sail for the Netherlands. Our first journey put us to quite the test, with some challenging weather, long nights at sea and plenty to figure out along the way. But we made it!
