Pop’s Beet Recipe Never Failed… So We Made 60 Pounds!

Most people bottle 10 or 20 pounds of beets. But you all know by now we’re not most people! We brought home 60 pounds and got to work making bottled beets using a recipe as close to Pop’s as we could find. Join us as we boil the beets over an open fire, process and bottle the whole batch, then broil a few in the oven for supper. There’s a lot of peeling, plenty of laughs, and enough beets to make us question our decisions somewhere around pound 40. Did your family have a special recipe for bottled beets? Let us know in the comments! #NewfieLifestyle #BottledBeets #NewfoundlandCooking Cormack Famers Market https://www.cormackmarketandflorist.com/ https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?... 📩 Mailing Address 📩 Newfie Lifestyle PO BOX 3855 DEER LAKE STN MAIL NL, A8A3M2 Canada Email newfielifestyle@gmail.com Cool Runnings Seasoning's Canada Amazon Cool Runnings Seasoning https://amzn.to/44JrBwc American Amazon Cool Runnings Seasoning https://amzn.to/4wgmmA6 Chicken Shredder Amazon Canada - Chicken Shredder, Transparent Lid Meat Shredder Tool Twist for Quick Shredded Pork Beef, Dishwasher Safe https://link.amazon/B0dtL04eb Amazon US - Chicken Shredder Tool Twist Large with Transparent Lid, Brush & Tongs - 10" https://link.amazon/B0fpngoEs TikTok -   / newfielifestyle   Facebook -   / 188jrvszuy   Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/newfielifes...
