Bastl Neo Trinity + Crust + Noise Engineering Incus Alia + Elecus Versio meets Dreadbox Artemis with 1010music Lemondrop and a Roland S1 all running into a Zoom L6 mixer (all synced via an RK-006). Sometimes you just gotta try things. https://modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/... It's pretty fun trying to get a full range of drum sounds out of a modular with only 2 voices. Managed to find a hack that let me use the noise on the Crust independently with an external envelope controlled from the Neo Trinity. That plus beat synced grain trig on the lemondrop, and you almost have percussion. Another fun trick was to use the Incus as a bass and a snare at the same time by triggering the bass at the snare point with the noise attack enabled. hahah yeah... Artemis is pretty interesting, has it's own sequencer that works in a pretty old school way (more like a programmable arp), but it's surprisingly intuitive. S-1 is pretty annoying compared TBH, but it sounds nice! Had a lot of fun with this rig over easter weekend and ended up recording this EP (under my DOOF DUCK alias): https://destroywithscience.bandcamp.c...
