This devotional song draws its inspiration from the sacred scriptures and spiritual writings of my great-grandfather, Pandit Laxman Bhat “Kalaan,” who lived in the enchanting Kashmir Valley during the 19th century. His timeless spiritual wisdom, rooted in the divine traditions and rich cultural heritage of Kashmir, continues to echo across generations, carrying the eternal message of devotion, faith, and the quest for the Divine. Through this humble musical offering, I seek to honour his sacred legacy and bring the spiritual treasures of our ancestors to today’s generation. May the wisdom of our forefathers continue to illuminate our hearts, strengthen our faith, and keep our spiritual heritage alive for generations to come. 🙏 With reverence, devotion, and gratitude — a humble offering to our ancestral legacy.
