My Heart Remembers | A Worship Song For When You Look Back and See God’s Faithfulness

I wrote “My Heart Remembers” from a place of looking back. There are seasons when life doesn't unfold the way we prayed it would. Plans change. Doors don't open. Answers come differently than we expected. And while we're living through it, it can be hard to understand what God is doing. But sometimes, when we look back, we begin to see His fingerprints in places we couldn't recognize them before. The setback that redirected us. The waiting that changed us. The prayer He answered differently. The grace that was carrying us even when we didn't know it. “My Heart Remembers” was written from that place of gratitude. Not because everything suddenly makes sense, but because looking back reminds us that God has been faithful before. Even some of the things we once struggled to understand can become reasons to give thanks. If you're in a season of looking back, waiting, rebuilding, or simply trying to trust God with where your story is going, I hope this song meets you there and gives you a reason to remember too. Look what the Lord has done. My heart remembers. With love, SpiritLift Worship Worship for every moment with God.
