Mastodon - Crystal Skull guitar playthrough

Mastodon's on my mind! New album, tour soon, 20th anniversary of Blood Mountain. So let's play through one of my favorites! Always happy to bring out my Jackson. Mixing a metal playthrough is always a challenge, because you don't want the guitars to overtake things but then people will say you aren't playing anything. I actually like listening to these later so I go a little low and see it as another layer. Listened to some live versions of the solo and they're always different, so I stayed closed but there might be a few notes that aren't one to one. Anyway, been on a nice break, but now that my new laptop is ready and the weather's gonna be iffy, time to sit around and do a bunch of guitar stuff!
