Building the Ultimate Texas Backyard Oasis | Part 1

Building the Ultimate Texas Backyard Oasis | Part 1 The Mill House is getting a major outdoor upgrade! 🌿☀️ In Part 1 of this new project, we’re beginning the transformation of the outdoor space around the Mill House into a backyard oasis that will become another amenity for our guests to enjoy during their stay. This new area is also an extension of our original greenhouse, giving us the opportunity to create a larger, more inviting outdoor space where guests can slow down, enjoy the property, spend time outside, and experience even more of what we’ve built here. In this episode, we’re getting started with the early stages of the project — preparing the area, working through the layout, and beginning the groundwork that will eventually bring the whole vision together. One thing we’ve learned after years of hosting is that a great Airbnb isn’t just about what’s inside the house. The outdoor spaces, amenities, and little experiences around the property can make a stay feel completely different. That’s exactly what we’re hoping to create here. There’s still plenty of work ahead, so this is only Part 1 of the transformation. We’ll be sharing the progress, the decisions, the work involved, and eventually the finished backyard oasis. What would YOU add to an outdoor space like this? Let us know in the comments!
