I Tried Distilling Lemon Verbena, Rosemary & Lavender… BIG Mistake!

What happens when you put Lemon Verbena, Rosemary, and Phenomenal Lavender into the still together? I had high hopes for this distillation experiment—but the result was definitely NOT what I was expecting. What started as an experiment to see how these three incredibly aromatic plants would work together turned into a lesson in what can happen when you mix botanicals during essential oil distillation. In this video, I’m distilling Lemon Verbena, Rosemary, and Phenomenal Lavender and taking a close look at the oil and hydrosol that come out of the still. The aromas are interesting, but let’s just say this combination didn't exactly produce the beautiful fragrance I was hoping for.
