How Prayer Changes the Way You See Everything

What if prayer is more than simply asking God to fix what’s going wrong? When we pray, we are given access to the throne room of heaven. We come before a Father who sees everything, knows everything, and has a perspective far greater than our own. Prayer gives us the opportunity to step away from what is overwhelming us and look at our circumstances through the eyes of God. Sometimes we need to change our view by climbing up in prayer. When life feels uncertain, God remains constant. His love, grace, mercy, and purpose never change. We can come boldly before Him and find the help, strength, and grace we need for whatever we are facing. The first principle of prayer is praise. Before focusing on our problems, we can turn our attention toward the greatness and holiness of our Father. He alone is worthy of our worship.
