OWLKEYME Presents 'My Place' - By Kalumburu Remote Community School

This project was funded by Kalamburu Remote Community School (KRCS). OWLKEYME was given the opportunity to facilitate a 4 day program with the young people of KRCS to produce this film clip. The students worked along side OWLKEYME to record and produce a track that was written by KRCS music teacher Bronwyn Pape and students of the school around the theme of safety. The OWLKEYME team were a guide for the students to choreograph dance sections and movement for the film clip. After this our film crew worked with the students to source locations. In two short days the film clip was shot, edited and produced for a viewing at the KRCS disco. The clip was well received by the community, though more importantly the experience and the skills the young people gained from the project was above anything we can put into words. The memories of this project will stay with us all and we hope to create more with KRCS in the near future. Until then... When we say 'What now' you say 'KALUMBURU'!
