How to Repair Horsehair Seat | BMW e28

As promised here is a description of everything we purchased -1 yard of 1/2inch high density foam (although we only used 1/2 yard) 3/4 yard of burlap 3/4 yard of a black thin material although other videos say you can purchase some cheap carpet from Autozone Spray adhesive to ensure everything stays together. Coconut husk (ours was 36”) After we got the seat we stripped it down to only the frame and then washed it all down to remove anything stuck on. Cushion repairing: We first went ahead and cut the coconut husk in the shape of the middle padding and used adhesive to double layer it on. From there we cut the foam to fit onto the side and sprayed adhesive onto there. We then placed the burlap on the bottom of the seat cushion and tucked it in. We then wrapped the seat in the thin black material and stapled it down. Comment down below if you have any questions!
