I try not to let my students talk about it. They get all mystical and conjure all kinds of radical theories. "It's a portal to 100,000 different dimensions!" Ludicrous. The '100K' is probably just the company that left it there or something. Apparently, when I was a kid, someone climbed in there and never came back out. The thing is dangerous. It's best to leave these things alone. Although... I did look inside once. I saw a thin vertical strip of light like a cut hanging in the air. Must have been the sun coming through a crack in the metal... not sure. I've just ignored it ever since. Ya...
