This song is the official hymn of the Manila Cathedral in honor of its titular patroness, the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The refrain of this song is composed by Fr. Jaime Lara, while its verses are added and completed by Fr. Carlo Magno Marcelo. The arrangement of this song was completed in 2019 by Maestro Alejandro Consolacion II to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Dedication of the Post-War Manila Cathedral. Therefore, making this arrangement a staple for grand celebrations, such as in the case of this video's audio. This version of the pinagpala was performed by the Manila Cathedral Choir during the Hermano Mass with the Cofradía de la Inmaculada Concepción, Inc., a mass celebrated before the start of the 2025 Intramuros Grand Marian Procession.
