Only Love - Mumford & Sons

Marcus Mumford delivers a restrained vocal over steady electric instrumentation, letting the song swell from quiet regret into an open, searching refrain. The lyrics grapple with personal failure and patience, returning to the simple conviction that love ultimately endures. Recorded at AIR Studios in London with producer James Ford, the track came together during the band's writing sessions for Wilder Mind. The arrangement pairs atmospheric guitar textures with understated percussion, giving the songwriting room to breathe.
