Passive Hepatic Congestion || Ultrasound || Doppler || Case 188 Clinical Features: A 17 years old unmarried female patient came with Chest pain Respiratory distress Ultrasound Features: Dilated hepatic veins. Ascites. Doppler Loss of normal triphasic flow pattern in IVC & HV with ‘to & fro’ flow and ‘M’ shaped spectrum. Increased pulsatility of the portal venous flow. Remember: In case of abnormal spectrum in portal vein & dilated hepatic veins, check the right heart to see the enlargement & other structural & functional abnormalities. Thank you for watching.
