Mom Accused of Killing Son, Stuffing Him in Suitcase Denied Bond Cut

Dejaune Anderson, who is accused of killing and stuffing her 5-year-old son, Cairo Jordan's body in a suitcase, attended a bond hearing on Friday. Anderson’s defense requested a bond reduction, claiming the initial medical examiner reported Jordan’s death as an electrolyte imbalance and manner of death as “undetermined.” However, prosecutors emphasized Anderson’s two-year flight prior to her arrest as well as multiple out-of-state arrests and active bench warrants, as reasons to deny her bond reduction request.
