But this song doesn’t just point the finger at politicians, media companies, record labels, influencers or algorithms. It points it back at *us* too. Every click tells the machine what we want more of. Every share rewards something. Every stream becomes a vote for what gets pushed to the front next. That is the uncomfortable part. We complain about the culture while sometimes helping to fund the very version of it we say is destroying people. “Who Sold The Culture?” asks what happens when success becomes numbers on a screen, somebody’s breakdown becomes entertainment, pain becomes a thumbnail and being viral starts looking more important than actually being free. It also turns the mirror inward. No fake guru shit. No pretending I’ve got everything figured out. I’ve had my own addictions, avoidance, bad habits and excuses. That is exactly why accountability matters. Question the media. Question the music. Question the products. Question the politicians. Question the people selling you an identity. But question yourself too. What are you consuming? What are you rewarding? What are you helping become normal?
