According to the latest forecasts, a westerly weather system is expected to strengthen around September 14, while moist currents are also contributing to rainfall activity. The next spell is expected to particularly affect northern areas, Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Punjab and parts of Balochistan. In Punjab, rainfall activity is expected to increase from around September 14, with several districts including Lahore, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Faisalabad, Jhang, Toba Tek Singh, Sahiwal and Multan among the areas mentioned in the forecast.
